Hey all - it's Brian. Glad you found this page. I have to say, I don't really know how to post, or link to this page from another, so I hope this works...

Anyhow, post any question you like here, and I'll definitely be able to answer it, what with the unlimited time frame. I'll answer the first bunch - in full detail, I promise, by this Wednesday, In the meantime, feel free to post away. Thanks for the good questions.

Oh, and dbchupp - sorry for the confusion; my tone was supposed to be friendly. I hope I didn't come off as confrontational.

And snizz - you know you're my #1 pick; it's just a matter of figuring out who your competitors would be!

You nailed all my views on Survivor villains! I whole heartedly agree with every single statement you made... I just wish I had someone round these parts who agreed with me, though it makes for better debate if the don't!

GuatBrianS11 Villainy Part 3 0 Apr 12 2007, 12:59 AM EDT by GuatBrianS11

I’d also like to take a second to talk about Jonathan Penner of Cook Islands. He was given a villain edit, but I was one of his most steadfast supporters on the blog last season. I think Jonathan is the perfect example of a player who played the game well. He was opportunistic, rational, and smart. He never attacked other players unprovoked, he was never mean, and he always did what was in his best interest. I never got on board the “villain” bandwagon, and I found his constant alliance-switching perfectly acceptable within the context of the game. I really enjoyed Jonathan, and I was sad to see him go.

So yeah, that was a really longwinded post, but I hope I addressed your question. I would never, ever support a mean player, because that’s both cruel and stupid: two cardinal sins of both Survivor and life.
