And don't forget to include the folks that quit even before the show started, for whatever reason. Some might have quit due to uncontrollable personal reasons and might want another chance to play.

Or why not do a Survivor Random Chance? Throw the names of all the applicants into a big Bozo drum and then pick out 16 to 20 names until you assemble a truly random cast. Just like with the big Bozo drum there could be two sections - one with male names and another with female names. Of course to really make things fair they might want a third section that only holds the name of post-op transexuals. That would allow for the game to start with three tribes. Really, they are running out of twists, even with all the recruiting.
