Jeff Probst has been dating Julie Berry, who was a contestant on Survivor: Vanuatu - Islands of Fire, since 2004. So far, Probst says that the romance is going well and calls her the "love of my life."
Probst once told People magazine "I'm in love. I'm with her. I'm with her family, and there ain't no turning back."
Rumors that the couple were dating started in the Fall of 2004, and it was after the broadcast of Survivor Vanuatu that the rumor mill started to pick up. Evidence that something might be going on was attributed to shameless flirting on the show and an episode where Julie was wearing a hand-painted tattoo of a heart with the word "Jeff" written in it.
After the show had ended, Jeff emailed Julie to say "hello," and the two propelled into a serious relationship. Julie had reservations about coming forth with the relationship. However, Probst came forward quickly after the Vanuatu's Season finale and told the world the truth.
"Nobody is more surprised than me that I could find my love affair on a show that I host," Probst told People magazine. "But the truth is when something like this gets dropped in your lap, you don't look at how it's wrapped, you don't look at how it's being delivered. You just put your arms around it and you hold on because this is my love affair and there's no question in my mind about it."
