First impression: I didn't like him until he started blogging after his episode ended. Now I think he's great, but why why why doesn't he like Ozzy?

Howhe is different from how he describes himself? People will miss him more...especially after his injury.

  • 1. He has become more self-aware since his Survivor epidosde -- he is not talking non-stop, or pushing his opinions on others -- he seems much more calm this time around. [see 2. immediately below]
  • 2. boy do I have to eat my words on my above "best" description of Jonathon, In short: NOT !! He is either becoming as whiny and annoying as he was on his season, or the editors are playing with our minds.

    • 3. He doesn't sound like Alan Alda this time around.

    • Oh, man, Penner - that is a heartbreaker about your blood poisoniing...... So glad you made the choice to leave, that is nothing to mess around with. People don't always realize that the red streak and pain to surrounding lymph node is what we used to call "blood poisoning" - which can kill people off right and left if they don't get those IV antibiotics. TOTALLY SERIOUS BUSINESS !!! Best wishes to you............drB

      • 1. By blogging on Strikes Back and maintaining friendships with other Survivors, he has had a public forum to polish his game view.
      • 2. Again - above post - my foot in mouth - didn't he learn ANYTHING?? I think he knows he really messed with Ozzy last time, and is Karma-paranoid.

      • Smart.
      • He doesn't like Ozzy.

      • Pisses people off

      • Becomes paranoid easily.

      • Got an infection in his leg that cost him the game.

      • Get over yourself, stop being jealous of Ozzy, see if you can make him your friend. You said he was arrogant -- maybe you're subconciously looking in a mirror? He might be shy and socially insecure. It is often posited that a person dislikes another who's traits one dislikes in himself. You're smart -- think about it. Think about how he reacted to you and why he might have reacted that way.

      • Screw off and leave Parvati alone!
