Episode recap: The Fans faced Tribal Council after losing to the Favorites in an exhausting swimming challenge. It seemed certain that Chet's feeble performance in the challenge would seal his fate during the vote, but in the handful of hours leading up to Council, firefighter Joel lobbied to get Mary on the block, so as to undercut Mikey's growing influence (not to mention his growing attraction to Mary). Mary was blindsided by the vote.

But we almost don't care about all that! The nocturnal friskiness of showmancers Ozzie/Amanda and James/Parvati was what really captured our attention. Gotta love those Survivor camerapeople -- they are ON THE CASE!!!

Sexiest male / female: Ozzie and Amanda share in some nocturnal macking, and things also heated up considerably between Parvati and James. Ozzie is just such a stud in swimming challenges!

 A swimming relay involving Survivors running as quickly as they could to run across a series of lilypads, swimming to a laddered platform, and then ascending to and leaping from the platform to strike a tile to drop a key; once in the water, the Survivor would grab the key and then swim back to the beach. The series of five collected keys were then used to unlock a sea chest to reveal a set of puzzle pieces that were then to assembled to complete a map of the Micronesian Islands.


Reward was: access to fishing supplies/boat
