What we'll never forget:

Maintaining a lit fire by blowing the embers, thus ultimately becoming one of only a few Survivor castaways in the history of the show to produce fire on their own without a flint or fire kit.

His arrogance when he tries to pull a Richard Hatch-type quote, saying, he "plans on going all the way," and that the million dollar check is waiting for him.

The unnecessary unkindness toward the elderly of Samburu when he and the other young tribemates created necklaces, only for themselves, to symbolize the bond of the youth.

His Tom Cruise-esque, never-disappearing grin

What we want to forget:

His manipulating, lying, and his tendency to play both sides of the fence

Previous to a tribal council, that Samburu was to attend, Silas became overly blunt and honest when he made it clear that it was the young vs. old and that the elderly should accept that they were going to be voted off.

Telling the old people to vote for Lindsey, to help the young people to win the game

Best moment:

For a moment, Silas carried Samburu through a small winning streak.

Even after getting personally screwed by (at that time) the greatest Survivor twist, he applauded the game of Survivor

Worst moment:

Silas is arguably the first person in Survivor history to be screwed over by a game changing twist. The solid alliance he had formed over at Samburu was snatched away from him, when he was unexpectedly switched over to Boran.

As a result of this twist, Silas' weak strategizing was shown and it became obvious to everyone that he was grasping for straws when he tried to make last minute deals with both Ethan and Clarence. Little did he know, that both Ethan and Clarence would relay the message to one another revealing Silas double-deal making.

What finally did her/him in?

His lying came around to bite him in the butt when (from what they showed us) Ethan and Clarence realized Silas was trying to align with them both seperately.

Where is he/she now?

After Survivor, Silas did a little modeling, some acting in various independent films, and commercial appearances for Mazda cars and Verizon cellular phone company.
