Survival Camp
Survival Camp
So you have seen the show SURVIVOR and now you want to know how you can have your own “Experience of a lifetime". No, this is NOT an application for SURVIVOR. The prize for winning is substantially less than a million dollars, but you will have an experience you will never forget. This is a REAL opportunity for REAL people. Survival Camp is in no way associated with the SURVIVOR reality show.
Competitors must be willing to commit to traveling to and living in a remote location for approximately two weeks. They will actually be living in the wilderness and will be responsible for building their own shelter and finding their own food.
Contestants will be filmed up to 24 hours a day by amateur camera crews. Video will NOT be broadcast on television.
The format of this competition will be similar to the familiar SURVIVOR television series with some significant differences. If you think you know what to expect then think again. There will be challenges and reconciliation meetings but one major twist in format will keep you guessing until the very end. The traditional strategies used on SURVIVOR will probably not work in this game.
The winner will collect approximately one thousand dollars. The remaining contestants will NOT collect any monetary compensation. All contestants will receive a set of DVD format videos documenting the experience.
Since this is a low budget production, contestants will be expected to provide their own transportation to and from an undisclosed location within the continental United States. There will be a participation fee of $100 placed into a pot from which the winner will collect as the final prize. In addition, contestants will be asked to bring supplies for use by the production crew on challenges and for rewards.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicant must be a US citizen at least 21 years of age upon application deadline.
Applicant must NOT be an actor or model.
Applicant must be a member of The Survivor Fan WIKI prior to March 1, 2009. Participation and conduct on the Survivor Fan WIKI will be considered in the selection process.
Applicant must have previously applied for SURVIVOR at least one time.

If you have questions regarding Survival Camp, please post them here. I will do my best to answer in a timely manner.
I'll start:
Q. What's in it for me? A. All I get out of this is the experience and a set of DVDs. I will probably try to use some of the footage for my own personal SURVIVOR application in the future. This is purely an expense for me. I have already spent many hours and dollars to prepare for this game.
