i think survivor should have a new young person on the show...to prove that not only strong middle aged people can make it far or even win survivor...i think i have what it takes to be the next survivor winner(excluding all-stars lol) I'm 19 fresh out of highschool well 5 months but i think they should give younger aged people opportunities in the game...i would love the shot to be an ultimate survivor...give me a chance JEFF.

I want to be on the next installment of Survivor all though I'm not sure why anymore. I have applied 3 times and each time nothing. The last time I applied I found out that Survivor recruited for the show and the only "real survivor" (one who applied) was sent home due to extreme ant bites. I was sickened to think that the show I loved has turned into more of a hollywood circus. Recruiting? Earl even said he never watched and when I heard Probast say "when we found you" I about fell off the sofa. What the heck happend to having the application process? It's the fans who made survivor what it is today and I feel that Mark Burnett and his crew are just slapping the fans in the face by recruiting for Survivor. When I drove my application up to Santa Monica for the third time there were less applications than my second time. I think folks are starting to get wind of the real way the producers are going about finding people for Survivor, that it keeps them from wanting to apply. And then there's the fact that Jeff said "if you want to apply go to CBS.com" And then you get there and there's nothing! Whata load of crap. To tell you the truth I just think it was a ploy to get folks looking at Marks new thing that pirate ship thingy. Can't really tell you much about it as I haven't really paid attention. I think it's time the Survivor producers found some people with real GUMPTION as opposed to the cookie cutter knock offs they had recently. No one on the last season had any reason to root for them. Survivor has lost it's edge! No wonder they aren't posting anyone's audition tapes anymore...HELLO it's because they recruited all of the contestants except one so it would look like they still cared. And since when is it okay to have a person on the show who is a friend of a friend who knows someone in the casting department, i.e. Dre? Truly disappointed, Ty

I have been playing Survivor my whole life! I have made my way and when the odds were against me, I emerged resilient, like the Phoenix—stronger, smarter, and more determined than before. I am at my most tenacious and creative when others expect me to fall down and roll over! That quality will be the obvious top-half of my Survivor game.

I think the most difficult part of Survivor has to be dealing with the obnoxious Island mates who the producers have to include just for impact. But who have the favorites been? Rupert? Yau? People you just have to love because they bring humanity and intelligence to the game. I have wanted to apply since the beginning but as an "older" (45-ish)woman, don't see much chance. My biggest obstacle is me. I can't seem to quit smoking!! I've tried hypnosis, acupuncture, pills, patches, will power. Here's the kicker...I'm an RN, a girl scout leader, I walk 3 miles daily, tap dance in my spare time and watched my dad die of lung cancer. Do I think I could do well on Survivor? Yes, if they let me have my nicotine and coffee in the morning!! My kids will tell you that dad knows to get that pot brewing or WATCH out.....Besides that...I'm up for it. HA HA

If you go through this Wiki site, and the Survivor Message Boards, you will see there are about a bazillion hopefulls groveling at the feet of the Galactic Survivor Empire. You are number bazillion and one. Good luck to you on your Galactic Survivor Quest, and my advice to you is to at least fill out some profile information-couldn't hurt!

Obviously you're here looking for the mysteriously missing Survivor 16 applications sort of mentioned by Jeff at last night finale show.

You've discovered a Big Brother app but no Survivor application. What gives? Who knows? I've got several ideas - including this one - perhaps CBS simply intended Survivor fans to organically organize an application process here. Fits with the model of driving content.

So CBS/SEG - How about a 44 year old male from Colorado, father of 4 daughters, former state legislator and city councillor, institutional portfolio manager and church trustee? Telegenic with experience speaking on camera and in public. Long time fan of Surivor with many ideas about original and interesting game play.
