Unforgettable moments

Overboard! The first time in Survivor history where contestants were marooned with only the clothes on their back. On day 1, host Jeff Probst reveals to the contestants, who are under the assumption that the journey doesn't begin until weeks from now, that the adventure rather begins "right NOW!" Contestants who are wearing their nice clothing are forced to jump off the boat.

Money Money Money Money. Each tribe was given $100 local currency and told that there is a small village and that they could use their money and any other items they have on them to purchase any supplies that they need and to rent a boat to take them to their new homes. From the start the Drake team rallied together with a cohesive plan and procured a great deal of supplies. This is also where Rupert stole items from the Morgan tribe that he later bartered for food and goods. Sandra's knowledge of the culture and mastery of the language helped the Drake's into a win fall of goods. The Morgan tribe was scattered and unorganized and left for their new home with almost nothing.

REVENGE! One of Survivor's most controversial Unforgettable moments: the Outcast Tribe twist; the first 6 contestants to be booted off the Pearl Islands came back with a vengeance to compete. They won the challenge and thus, Burton Roberts (who was voted off 4th) and Lillian Morris (voted off 3rd) were back in the contention for the million dollar prize.

The Biggest Lie in Survivor History. Jon 'Fairplay' Dalton lies about his "dead grandmother" (who is actually still alive) in order to easily win a reward challenge.

"I QUIT." Osten Taylor becomes the first castaway in Survivor history to lay down his torch and quit the game.
