Survivor Tocantins Episode 7
Quick recap of Survivor 18 Episode 7:Note: Episode 6 was the recap show last week (not an actual new show, but some new footagge).This week Jalpal returns after voting Spencer off. Most seemed bothered about having to vote him off, but not JT. Sydney worried about being a target, but Joe lets her know that Taj would go first (if you missed the behind-the-scenes footage last week, Sydney is actually more capable than previous editing has shown her – she was the only one able to make fire for the group). | |
 | Coach insisted on cooking the beans himself longer (said they were always impatient and undercooked the beans), but it started raining badly so he left them without watching them closely. Brendan stated that it was “another one of those coach moments.” Some of these beans are like charcoal and much was wasted stuck to the bottom of the pot. Brendan said it doesn't bother him too much because he likes that coach is predictable in the game. Over in Jalapal, Taj wanted to tell JT she has the immunity idol. Stephan doesn’t want him to know. |
 | Reward challenge: 5 minutes to build a barricade in the other tribes frame, then attempt to toss ceramic pigs through the frames – most pigs at the end of the challenge gets to go to beautiful waterfall & BBQ (burgers, etc.). Erinn sits it out. Timbura had lead, but Jalpal caught up, but Timbura wins in the end. |
 | Joe & Erin go to exile – Joe hopes that Erinn will flip during a merge. Waterfall, flips – enjoyed themselves. Taj and Stephen decided to create a fake idol to trick Joe. JT finds the immunity idol in her bag and tells Stephan. Stephan acts surprised, then tells Taj to go ahead and tell him. Taj promised JT that any time he might need the idol, she’ll give it to him. |
 | Immunity challenge – slingshots to break tiles, releasing sand, revealing another tile. 3 bags of puzzle pieces. Debbie sits out the challenge. JT vs Tyson – both tribes decide to keep them on. JT unlucky with the tile breaks, #3 never revealed. Puzzle competitors: Brendan and Erin vs Stephan and Joe (late start) On the puzzle Timbura wins with the lead. Timbura heads into the merge with a 6-4 lead. |
 | Joe has an infected leg but shrugs it off. He confirms with everyone that Taj is going. JT and Stephen try to talk Joe into keeping Taj. Joe wasn't in agreement with the Taj move. Stephen has the idol so they don't have to keep Taj which means the idol can be shared between the two. Turns out JT and Sephen stay true to Taj (probably because they want to utilize her connections with Brendan), Sydney voted off 3-2. |

So CBS decided to call this last episode 7, even though 6 was just a recap show.
Continuing the episode 6 discussion... What did u think of how it played out? I was hoping for a 5-5 merge and wanted to see if Sydney could go further as she seemed to have picked it up yhe last couple episodes, plus Taj is much to confident. |
