Things that Survivor Fans Want to ChangeThis is a featured page

CBS, here is your chance to answer the questions that the Survivor fans are asking. Post your questions here:

What is up with all of the recruits? Why are you only accepting young models and actors from California? Are you really running out of exciting people from other places in the US?

Are we wasting our time applying for the show?

When are more seasons of DVDs coming out? Why don't you just put them all out at once in a big group set?

When are you going to ask for fans ideas for twists, challenges, etc?

Why just let young people be on the show? Older
people can be just as hood as younger people.
The show should have all ages on it. Why not make a full show of older people? Give all people a change. I have applied almost every year and as yet have not been given a change to appear on the show. WHAT A BUMMER.

Why do we need to have a final three? I much prefer a final two. It was interesting, but please go back to the original format.

Petition to CBS

HELLO CBS
I have a huge request!! PLEASE,PLEASE!!
Interview everyone that has applied more than 5 to 8 times!! If someone has applied that many times, they are either crazy and you dont want them OR they just didnt do a good video and you are missing a really good potential cast member. Please think about it------then DO IT!!!!

HELLO CBS
Here is another thought. Just have contestants that are from 35 years old and up! Why not? Older people can be surprising and many of the viewers ARE OLDER!!!

Or at least...

Tell people to STOP applying
if you think they will NEVER
be good enough.

Honesy works ...

Trust me.

survivor2112 making the challenge even more rewarding 5 Mar 8 2008, 11:46 PM EST by shaggylinda

My theory, let the winning team on a challenge get a HUGE reward and let them vote off someone from the losing team! Someone has to be voted off anyway, and this could really shake things up. Before doing the challenge, it could be said there is a twist and it will be revealed after the challenge. Once the challenge is won, it could then be said that the 'twist' is there will be an immediate tribal counsel held in which the winning team gets to vote off someone from the losing team on the challenge. Chaos, excitement, panic, concerns.. the ultimate chance to definately outwit, outlast, and outplay.. true to survivor! This has to be done at least once.. and what a reward!! Most often we see the tribes sitting out their 'weakest' players on a challenge and saving their 'strongest' players for the immunity challenge. If this idea goes into play at least once, it might make everyone rethink their strategies.. and <sigh> alliances. Because if this were to be done.. your best alliance is of absolutely no help to you what so ever. The ripple effect of the winning team on a challenge voting off someone from the losing team, could and should redefine the entire game, even if it was done only once! And if you must, you could still hold an immunity challenge later on in the game. Its been done before where there have been 2 people voted off in one night. Ive posted this thought and some either like it or not. Some seem to think its stupid because they would vote of the strongest player on the losing team, all i can say is.. DUH! Thats what it comes down to once the tribes merge anyway! Its worth at least one try, dont ya think?

Luckster Final Three 0 Nov 2 2007, 6:00 PM EDT by Luckster

I agree. The final three is boring and way too flashy and complex. It takes away from the suspense. You said you wanted to avoid having an unlikable person in the finals? The answer is so obvious! Do you even THINK things through? When it comes to the final three, have the 6 jury members and the winner of immunity vote on one of the other two remaining contestants to be voted out. Then, you wouldnt have that dumb final three thing, and you wouldnt have an unpleasant person in the finals.
