You were my favorite and indeed the best survivor fiji contestant! A genuine person, the exact opposite of Dreamz!
It's funny how initially you feared being voted off because you were the oldest and thought that you were the weakest in the tribe. Then later on, others thought of voting you off because you were "surprisingly" physically strong (for a person with your built and age) and had skills the others (especially, those testosterone-filled guys) couldn't match! That was so amazing! Three cheers! :) Trusting Dreamz to be a man of honor brought on your demise. You should have trusted your instinct more, and tried winning that last immunity challenge. It's sad that at the last opportunity, Earl. the person whom you trusted a 100%, backstabbed you as well...even if you later learned that he did it because he knows he would have lost to you. :( He initially promised to bring you to the top 2, but used Dreamz's action to his advantage (a smart but not nice move). Next time, you know better than to trust a person, even if he/she is your bestfriend, when it comes to money matters. Greed always defeats fairness and integrity. :( Kudos for playing the game with skill, wit, and most of all, integrity! A very admirable person...one whom any friend and family can be proud of! I wish the producers gave you a special prize/reward for being the best player (a fact that most , if not all, of the other contestants agree to). Also, I wish that you will be part of Survivor All-Stars...along with Michelle! Good luck! Good things come to good people. You'll get your reward in another way, at another time! :) |

Who played this game be best to outwit, outplay, and outlast? Yau Man did. He deserved to win, and CBS should have come through with a fan-favorite prize for such a fabulous run!
Despite his slight build and age, Yau man played the game using his head and surprising feats of athleticism when called for. I pulled for Yau Man all the way through, just because he seemed like a genuine guy -- he was smart enough to weigh the scenarios and progress along, but just nerdy enough to do a celebration dance when he found the HII. I admired his positive attitude and the fact that he was always smiling. Yau is worth a million even if he didn't win. |
