drBonkers	Survivor limerick page or limerick thread - try it, it's hep, cat! Mar 15 2008, 6:44 PM EDT I'm trying to tear myself away from "the other survivor site" and in order to do that, I need to make silly rhymes to express my ideas about the show! {kudos to filligirl for her long-running limerick thread.) A Limerick is a usually humorous poem, with 5 lines. Lines 1,2 and 5 rhyme. Lines 2 and 3 form a rhyming couplet. You remember those old "there once was a lady from spain.......?" But don't feel limited to limericks!! Any rhyme'll do. Either post on this thread or go to the Limericks page on this wiki - makes no never-mind. Don't be intimidated - your rhymes will not be graded!!!!! Can't wait to see your contributions!!!!!! My humble example: Has Jason, of fans, second-sight? His lie about Ozzy was right! I almost thought Oz would wisely take pause And offer the idol last night! "Oh no!" I groaned at the TV Oz isn't going to be free Then sure enough, he still has the stuff! Mar 18 2008, 2:03 PM EDT sissybob, the poems at CBS "filigirl's limerick thread" -- some of them are HORRENDOUS but ALL of them are FUN!! No expertise required. just some lines that rhyme. As soon as people see how flagrantly we throw the "rules" of the limerick out the window, they will have a blast rhyming up a storm - guaranteed! I just posted the rules for the ahem limerick police. Do I hear someone say, Oh Yes - She WAS sick in heart, not a jest If break-down it was, I'm calling it bust She LOOKED her absolute best She left someone else for the boot She gave not so much as a hoot So Tracy is gone (and Cirie was WRONG) If C.'s at Reunion - No good! Now Tracy, to me, is a Dip She posed with pouty pouched lips!! Not just her headlights, though they were a sight Her lips were much worse than the nips The nice things about this last game: Props out to Ozzy and James! Now I sit at home in my lazy chair Watching those imbeciles and wishing I was there. To go and play is my dream casting me not seems so mean.
