"shaggy, MysteryIslandGuy's contest (of sorts) says just two things---place only one vote for the person you believe most deserving of being on SURVIVOR18 and (you cannot pick yourself). It does not give a time frame for this contest (of sorts) and in my twisted opinion it shows those who vote have already settled for a jury position. Sorry but I don't play or think about playing SURVIVOR as a jury member. I play to win not finish second. ( I'm not the sharpest crayon in the box) but here's something to think about ------how hard do you think it is to stack the votes in someone's favor ----- simple as creating new accounts and placing votes for whoever you choose. Call me the devil's advocate if you wish. Please don't apologize for anything, you are doing what you think is right for you. As for me, I've pretty much always gone againt the grain and welcome a friendly (or not) debate or arguement even though a wise man (Dale Carnegie) on human relationships and relationship skills wrote "nobody ever wins an arguement" An arguement just a competition to me. Here are some things to think about ------- 1) how many active wiki members are there 2) how many have participated in this contest (of sorts) 3) how many people apply for SURVIVOR 4) how much sense does it really make to have a contest (of sorts) like this. shaggy, I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel but there are many definitions of the wheel and the definition I choose to use at this time is "wheel and deal" (to persue one's interest esp. in a shrewd or unscrupulous manner) That doesn't even sound nice, does it ------oh well (in an insane society a sane person must seem insane) Another wise person, Mrs. Brockman, my first grade teacher (from a hundred years ago) one day told the class "can't never did do anything". Probably one of the most influential moments in my life. If TheIslandGuy is Jeff or someone from MBP great, if not great as well, it's been an amusing lesson in futility."
